Regional Asset Map Licensing and User Terms
The GIS Map, including all associated datasets, layers, visualizations, compilations, designs, analyses, and other content made available through the Map (collectively, the "Content"), is owned exclusively by Future Roots, a DBA of the Sun Valley Institute of Resilience, (“Future Roots”) unless otherwise identified. All rights, title, and interest in and to the Map and Content are reserved by Future Roots.
Access to the Map does not grant users any ownership rights or intellectual property interests in the Map or its Content. Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Map solely for lawful informational, educational, and internal planning purposes, subject to these Terms of Use.
The Map and all content are provided for informational and educational purposes only. While Future Roots endeavors to provide accurate and current information, the Map and Content are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether expressed or implied.
Future Roots makes no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, reliability, timeliness, suitability, or availability of any information contained within the Map. Users should independently verify information before relying upon it and are encouraged to contact the relevant Asset, business owners, or organizations directly for the most current information.
Without the prior written consent of Future Roots, users may not:
Copy, reproduce, distribute, publish, transmit, display, sell, sublicense, lease, or otherwise exploit the Map or any Content
Create derivative works based on the Map or Content
Use the Map or Content for commercial purposes
Remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, ownership, or attribution notices
Download, scrape, harvest, extract, or systematically collect data from the Map for redistribution or external publication
Share user credentials or provide unauthorized access to third parties.
Any reports, exports, downloads, screenshots, maps, images, presentations, analyses, summaries, compilations, or other materials generated from, derived from, or incorporating any portion of the Map or its Content (collectively, "Derivative Materials") remain subject to Future Roots' ownership rights and these Terms of Use.
The creation, download, export, or capture of Derivative Materials does not transfer ownership of any underlying data, intellectual property, or content to the user. All underlying Map Content, data, and associated intellectual property rights remain the exclusive property of Future Roots.
Users may not distribute, publish, reproduce, sell, sublicense, commercialize, or otherwise exploit Derivative Materials without the prior written consent of Future Roots. Any authorized use of Derivative Materials must retain all applicable copyright notices, ownership statements, and attributions required by Future Roots.
Users acknowledge that any analyses, interpretations, visualizations, or compilations generated using the Map are based upon proprietary Content owned by Future Roots and remain subject to the restrictions and limitations contained in this Agreement.
Users acknowledge and agree that information obtained through the Map shall not be distributed, sold, disclosed, or used in any manner prohibited by applicable local, state, federal, or international law.
Users understand that violations of applicable laws may result in civil liability, criminal penalties, or both, and that Future Roots reserves the right to cooperate with law enforcement or regulatory authorities regarding unlawful use of the Map.
