Employment Background:

Served in the United States Marine Corps as an artillery officer with the 1st Marine Division, Fleet Marine Force. Worked swing and graveyard shifts on the dock at Pacific Intermountain Express in Emeryville, California. Worked in investment banking at Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs in New York. Managed the investment portfolios of Pacific Holding Corporation in Westwood, California. Managed the West Coast operations of Kidder Peabody’s Futures Department. Worked at Paribas Technology in San Francisco. Spent more than a decade at Robertson Stephens in technology investment banking.

Educational Background:

Studied computer programming at University of Southern California.  Studied Molecular biochemistry at Yale.  Studied botany, zoology, and chemotaxonomy at Pomona College and Claremont Graduate School. Studied finance at Stanford Graduate School of Business.

• Spring: Miner’s lettuce

• Summer: Fresh ripe tomatoes

• Fall: Kathleen’s spectacular Lava Lake Lamb green curry!
